Challenge Wanaka 2010... the day before the FUN!

Well here I am in Wanaka the day before the big Race. I've been living here for the last two weeks with my lovely Hosts Rob, Wendy and Bronnie... it's been cool doing my last bits of training, checking out the course and freezing my ass and face off in the somewhat cold Lake.

So now it's race week and what great fun it's been as it seems like the rest of the World has come to Wanaka so it's been cool hanging out with all my fellow athletes and the whole Challenge Crew... it's been more exhausting than the training!?!?

But I am feeling pretty good and I just can't wait to get out there and have some fun...

And thanks to everyone who's wished me all the best... will be thinking of you all when I'm out there :-)

Big congrats to Nicky, Todd and Mike who all met their goals at Tauranga Half Ironman, with Mike getting on the Podium... Nice! Special Kudos to Lise from Oz who also did the race after only just giving birth a few months ago... what an Uber Chick!

I'm going to be an anal Type A triathlete now and not write anymore as I've got some DVD watching to do... and a bit of chilaxing...
